Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in North Carolina is seeking an experienced market leader to deliver performance across multiple hospitals. You will hire, coach and develop Practice Managers, partner with DVQ and ACOS, and drive improvements in medical quality and financial results.

The role requires 80% travel and a residency in the assigned region, with a focus on building strong teams, ensuring compliant operations, and maintaining a safe, engaging hospital environment for pets and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
• Five years of experience in a multi-location service industry are required.
• At least three years of line manager experience are required.
• Experience hiring and staffing, leading a variety of people, and developing next level leaders is preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital teams to deliver high quality care and service.
• Hire, coach and develop Practice Managers.
• Partner with DVQ and Area Chiefs of Staff to improve medical quality and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with practice protocols, policies and laws while maintaining safe, clean hospitals.
• Own recruitment, hiring, coaching and supervision of PMs and clinicians in the market.
• Drive OGSM performance and manage inventory and hospital invoices.
