Salary Range: $151,813 - $208,743 (DOE)

Summary and Qualifications:

Serve as a strategic partner to leadership teams, contributing expertise in people management to business strategy, managing change initiatives, and fostering a culture aligned with our Five Principles.

Focus on organizational success factors such as culture, high performance, associate engagement, and well-being.

Provide insights into organizational development, talent acquisition, demand planning, talent management, associate relations, and learning and development.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc.
  • Lead a team of P&O and Learning Business Partners, including hiring, development, motivation, and performance management.
  • Advise senior leadership on integrating our culture and principles into daily activities.
  • Lead execution of annual P&O processes such as talent reviews, performance development, and engagement surveys.
  • Guide senior leaders on P&O policies, applying behavioral sciences, change management, and leadership development techniques.
  • Act as a liaison between Central Team Support and the Field for program implementation.
  • Analyze metrics to drive business outcomes and improve engagement and well-being.
  • Monitor employment trends and ensure proactive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to support strategic goals with tailored learning solutions.
  • Ensure effective implementation of people programs in the Field.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Special Working Conditions:
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Must reside within the assigned market with a home office setup.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and travel on short notice.
  • Work environment includes moderate noise and pet presence.
Experience, Education, and Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Management required; advanced degree preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years HR experience and three years leadership experience required.
  • Knowledge of talent management, organizational design, change management, and coaching necessary.
  • Experience across multiple units and states required.
