Job summary

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) seeks a Transparency Network Coordinator to lead a regional transparency network within the CT-GSP. You will coordinate engagement with national focal points, translate country needs into regional activities, and provide technical assistance to strengthen ETF implementation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in climate change, environmental sciences, public policy, or economics.
• A first-level degree with significant additional professional experience may be considered.
• Five years of progressive professional experience in climate transparency, MRV/ETF systems, or regional coordination.
• Experience working with national governments and coordinating multi-country programs.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a regional transparency network.
• Engage with participating countries and identify capacity needs for ETF.
• Organize regional capacity-building events and provide technical assistance.
• Coordinate with regional and international support providers and document activities.
• Ensure network activities align with the CT-GSP workplan and standards.
