The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Transparency Network Coordinator (TNC) for the Pacific Network to coordinate CT-GSP activities, engage with governments, and translate needs into regional programs.

Fluency in English is essential, an advanced degree is required, and five years of experience in climate transparency or regional coordination are expected; the role emphasizes knowledge sharing and capacity-building.

Qualifications

• An advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in a relevant field such as climate change, environmental sciences, public policy, or economics is required.
• A first-level university degree with significant relevant professional experience may be accepted.
• Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of additional relevant languages being an asset.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate continuous engagement with Pacific Network countries and facilitate peer learning and regional cooperation.
• Organize capacity-building initiatives and provide direct country support.
• Maintain up-to-date transparency information and organize regional activities.
• Capture results, lessons learned, and evidence to inform project management and monitoring.
