Description du poste

Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of space-powered Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are fundamentally changing the design, economics, manufacturing, coverage limitations and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

By building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system—with a unique antenna design, highly sustainable spacecraft system and low-cost, small portable end-user devices—we can extend global satellite coverage, capacity and connectivity beyond legacy space services to provide a new kind of IoT platform that lets users sense, track, connect and act on information gathered, anywhere.

We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to saving space, protecting our planet and turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.

As a Real-Time DSP/Embedded Engineer, you will play a key role in developing advanced communication modems.

As part of a close-knit development team, you'll be responsible for implementing and optimizing software components across the full software stack, from the Tx/Rx DSP layer to the control plane and Linux application levels. You’ll collaborate closely with our hardware team to integrate, test, and validate software components, contributing directly to the realization of our cutting-edge product.

What You'll Do:
  • Implement physical layer processing on DSP (IQ signal processing).
  • Develop real-time control algorithms for embedded systems.
  • Work at the Linux application level to create and maintain system functionality.
  • Contribute to and update the chain model software for system optimization.
  • Participate in hardware integration, testing, and validation to ensure product reliability.
What You Bring to the Role:
  • MS/Eng. degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Electronics with at least 3 years of experience in Embedded Software Engineering, FW/DSP programming, real-time systems or anything related to digital wireless communications.
  • Strong experience in C embedded programming, particularly in multi-core and multi architecture environments.
  • Expertise in DSP/PHY-level algorithm implementation, including vectorial processing, fixed-point (FXP) computation, and real-time memory transactions.
  • A solid understanding of SoC (System on Chip) and hardware accelerator programming.
  • Experience with Python (NumPy) and MATLAB for modeling Tx/Rx chains.
  • Proficiency in developing test scenarios and conducting lab verifications.
  • Familiarity with Layer 1/2 digital communications standards, such as 5G, or similar real-time DSP-related experience.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing new ideas and solutions to the team.

While we welcome candidates with global experience, please note that English is the language we conduct our business in, and application submissions will need to be in English or both English and French to be reviewed by our global team.

Why E-Space is right for you:
