Eurolux Consulting Ltd. seeks an experienced Fund Controller Manager to oversee the financial control and reporting for a portfolio of French real estate investments.

You will liaise with deal teams, portfolio managers and asset management to ensure timely, compliant reporting and insightful analysis. The role requires strong alternative funds experience, ideally in real estate, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• ACCA or similar professional qualification.
• 5–8 years of real estate experience in a controlling or accounting function (Big 4 and asset management preferred).
• Knowledge of real estate funds is essential.
• Audit background preferred.
• Strong experience of IFRS (including consolidation) and Lux GAAP is preferred.
• Fluent English and French is essential.

Responsabilités

• Ownership of financial control and reporting for a mixed portfolio of real estate investments, including funds and the underlying assets.
• Develop and manage relationships with service providers and fund managers.
• Oversee fund accounting functions performed by third party providers.
• Review monthly and quarterly accounts for Funds, SPVs and subsidiaries per Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare and review fund flows for closings, upstreams, downstreams, exits and refinancing.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits of funds and investment companies.
• Manage financial and regulatory reporting for these funds.
• Perform profitability analysis and monitor fund performance.
• Advise on regulatory changes affecting the funds and report to management and clients.
• Liaise with Controllers and acquisition teams on fund additions.

Real Estate Fund Controller - Manager (BM3193)

Our client manages real estate investments across multiple locations for the Group.

They seek an experienced Manager to act as a Fund Controller to oversee, coordinate and control the financials for a portfolio of French real estate investments. You will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting responsibilities for real estate funds and their subsidiaries.

The position requires someone with strong alternative funds experience, ideally within real estate, who is able to communicate effectively and understands the different relationships and stakeholders involved in the lifecycle of real estate funds.

You will join a solid, experienced and stable team managing the financial lifecycle of these alternative funds and their underlying structures. There will be plenty of contact with the deal teams, portfolio managers and asset management teams, so you will be exposed to the strategy and direction of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of financial control and reporting of a mixed portfolio of real estate investments, including funds and the underlying assets
• Develop and build a relationship with service providers and foster an environment of trust and mutual benefit
• Oversight of the (fund) accounting functions performed by third party providers
• Review of monthly, quarterly accounts of Funds, SPVs and subsidiaries in compliance with Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Preparing and reviewing fund flows for various activities including closings, upstreams, downstreams, exits and refinancing
• Responsible for the annual statutory audit of accounts for funds and investment companies
• Coordinate the financial and regulatory reporting for these funds
• Performing profitability analysis and monitoring the fund performance
• Understand and advise on the impact of regulatory changes on the funds and prepare reports for management and clients
• Liaise with other Controllers and acquisition teams on additions to the funds
• Providing operational risk assessments of current processes and identifying issues

Requirement:

• ACCA or similar professional qualification
• 5-8 years of real estate experience in a controlling or accounting function with Big 4 and asset management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of real estatefunds is essential
• Audit background preferred
• Strong experience of IFRS (including consolidation) and Lux GAAP is preferred
• Fluent English and French is essential
• Possess the ability to negotiate, persuade and be diplomatic with colleagues and fund managers
