Job summary

Nomad Digital is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Paris-based Engineering team. You will coordinate the technical delivery of projects from design through deployment, working with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure successful outcomes.

Strong knowledge of IP networking, Linux platforms, and wireless technologies is required, with hands-on experience configuring network devices. Some international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN and VLAN IP planning.
• User knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with network devices (switches, routers, access points).
• Desirable familiarity with railway certification requirements and RF/antenna concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal teams to deliver project deliverables within timelines.
• Interact with clients to determine requirements and present results.
• Prepare high-level design and finalize design during the project.
• Create and align project documents (design, BOM, test plans, configurations).
• Define and review configurations to meet design objectives with internal teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal teams; provide third-line support if needed.
• Manage handover to client or in-house support with training.
