Alstom in Villeurbanne invites a Software Development Engineer for Perception to join a multidisciplinary team developing perception solutions for rail, from driver assistance to autonomy. You will implement advanced computer vision and multi-sensor data processing, collaborating with system architects, validation teams and deployment specialists.

You will apply C++ and Python, with ROS2, and contribute to the integration of perception algorithms into customer environments, including interface

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a master’s degree with software development experience.
• Experience designing perception solutions (computer vision, LiDAR) for embedded applications.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python; knowledge of ROS2 and CI/CD is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; German would be a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop perception algorithms for multi-sensor data and 3D modeling.
• Build tools for installation, calibration, configuration, testing and commissioning of perception solutions.
• Customize and qualify perception solutions for specific projects or rolling stock types.
• Ensure deployment of perception solutions, including interface design and mapping for rail lines.
