At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
Could you be the full-time Software Development Engineer for Perception program in Villeurbanne (69 - France) we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a young, multidisciplinary, and motivated team.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (system architects, validation and verification teams, software and electronics engineers, as well as installation and deployment teams), actively contributing to the definition, development, and software integration of perception systems enabling obstacle detection, environment monitoring, and situational awareness.
You’ll specifically take care of implementing advanced technological strategies for perception and developing computer vision algorithms and models to process multi-sensor data (from cameras, Lidars, Radars, etc.), but also contribute to the deployment of perception solutions for customers, including interface design and integration into the client’s operational context.
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
