Alstom in Villeurbanne seeks a Software Development Engineer to design perception systems for the railway domain, from obstacle detection to autonomy, collaborating with architects, validation, software and hardware teams.

You will implement advanced perception algorithms for multi-sensor data (cameras, LiDAR, radar), integrate into customer deployments, and help deploy solutions while ensuring quality, cybersecurity, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a master’s degree with significant software development experience.
• Experience developing perception solutions (computer vision, LiDAR) for embedded applications.
• Ability to work in an international, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in French and English; German would be a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop perception algorithms for multi-sensor data and 3D modeling.
• Build tools for installation, calibration, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Integrate perception solutions into client deployments and interfaces.
