The R&D Verification Engineer II will join CASE BU to conduct testing of SaaS applications. This role assesses how well the product meets customer needs in functionality and usability, ensuring product requirements and quality standards are met. The role collaborates closely with the product team and communicates with technical specialists on product issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Specify, write, modify, and update test cases and scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing: functional, application, regression, white box
• Automate testing activities at application and source code levels
• Expand test coverage, monitor results, diagnose failures
• Collaborate effectively within the team to ensure project success
• Create test plans, manage defects, analyze testing metrics
• Follow standard techniques and company processes
• Work in Windows and Linux environments

Minimum Education/Certification and Experience

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related with 2 years experience, or MS with no experience
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with Pytest, writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies
• Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, Cypress
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Experience with automated test frameworks like Pytest/Junit
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization
• Experience in large-scale software testing environments
• Basic knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL

Knowledge of debugging test scripts with VS Code or similar tools is a plus.
