VIAVI Solutions in Saint-Etienne invites an R&D Software Development Engineer to contribute to Fiber Monitoring Solutions for ONMSi. You will engage in full software lifecycle, collaborating with marketing and engineering to align product architecture with industry trends and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to commit to four R&D project rotations in different locations, including international assignments up to 6 months.
• Some software engineering experience outside of school (internship/Co-Op/hackathon).
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile working methods is advantageous.
