About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work on the Calibre engineering team in the Siemens EDA IC segment located in Grenoble, France. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Calibre Parasitic Extraction software.

You will collaborate with a senior group of software engineers on production level quality of new components and algorithms and support existing parasitic extraction related products.

Qualifications:

  • We would love to hear from you if you have a MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • You are proficient in C++ programming language and have the capability to dig into large existing software systems.
  • 3+ years software development experience, ideally in EDA/parasitic extraction.
  • Experience with large software development projects (code reviews, version management, unit tests, static/dynamic code checkers).
  • Proficiency in runtime and memory optimization, high-performance data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of computational geometry, graph theory, and optimization problems.
  • Experience with multithreaded and distributed programming.
  • IC CAD experience (DRC, LVS, extraction, simulation), exposure to digital design environments (e.g., LEF/DEF formats, Place and Route, STA…) would be a huge plus!
  • Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set and work consistently towards personal goals.
  • Ability to work/travel within an international, multi-discipline organization around the world based on business needs (including but not exclusively: US, Armenia, Israel, Taiwan, Egypt).
