In order to support the Animal Nutrition (LAN) business unit’s development, LALLEMAND SAS is seeking a Junior Ruminants R&D Project manager.

Part of the R&D team and reporting to the Applied R&D Manager, the Project manager will have the following principal roles and responsibilities:

Management of a selected number of R&D projects linked to ruminants nutrition and health:

1. Prospect for experimental facilities, design and discuss study protocols for business access purposes;
2. Write the efficacy section of registration dossiers;
3. Manage research collaborations (project management) with selected third parties related to existing solutions’ continuous documentation;
4. Participate in statistical analysis of applied research trials;
5. Prepare scientific summaries for the technical team;
6. Review and monitor scientific literature related to the projects;
7. Provide technical support to marketing and commercial teams for trial setup and data analysis when required.

Technical skills

Required

• Familiar with project management
• Comfortable with experimental designs and statistical analyses
• Proficient in at least one major statistical package (SAS, SPSS, R Studio, etc.)
• Proficient in English (writing and speaking); additional languages are a plus
• MSc in animal sciences (ruminants) or engineering degree in Agriculture/Agronomy with a focus on animal production
• 1-2 years of experience in R&D within the feed industry or with feed additives is a plus
