R&D Project Engineer

ABOUT YOUR TASKS :

• Create design deliverables in the form of drawings, bill of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Manage new product development projects.
• Actively interact with various departments within the company to successfully carry out projects (Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, After-Sales Service, Laboratories).
• Collaborate with our suppliers to ensure technical feasibility and cost optimization of manufacturing, based on the chosen technology (plastic injection, foundry, machining).
• Perform cost calculations for products.
• Propose technical solutions to meet the requirements of various standards and regulations (safety, hygiene, environment).
• Participate in defining test protocols (reliability, performance).
• Validate component replacements in case of obsolescence or supply disruption.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial product design, mechanical design, or a related field, ideally with 3 years of professional experience.
• Technical knowledge in electromechanics is a plus.
• Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD (CATIA V5).
• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of product regulations (Machinery Directive, IEC Standards, Food is a plus).
• Languages: Proficient in French (negotiation level) and intermediate in English. Italian is a plus.

Occasional travel within France and abroad is expected, depending on the projects (approximately 3 times a year).
