Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, document, and implement solutions for Glooko XT users.
2. Maintain software quality and adopt the correct architectural principles.
3. Apply functional and design patterns with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
4. Be an independent thinker and dynamic problem solver.
5. Develop, test, or modify programs based on user or system design specifications.
6. Write scalable, modular, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
7. Optimize complex data models for understandability and performance.
8. Work in an agile development environment, understanding agile/lean delivery methods.
9. Design, develop, and oversee unit tests to ensure application logic is fully exercised.
10. Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders on project stages and goals.
11. Provide technical oversight, including code reviews and mentoring.
12. Deliver end-to-end solutions, focusing on hitting delivery milestones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js (preferred) or Python, building APIs and Microservices.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience in TDD & BDD development practices.
• Passionate about developing modern web applications, designing REST APIs, third-party integrations, and Web UI interactions.
• Write modular, clean code supported by unit tests.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of global infrastructure mechanisms and security.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile tools, JIRA, and Atlassian tools is a plus.
