TE Connectivity recherche un Ingénieur en Conception de Produit pour rejoindre son équipe d'ingénierie. Vous serez responsable du développement de nouveaux produits, de l'analyse des demandes des clients et de la collaboration avec des équipes diverses. Un diplôme de Master en ingénierie mécanique avec une spécialisation en conception est requis. Les candidates doivent avoir une expertise en moulage par injection et une bonne maîtrise des outils CAO tels que CREO.

• Diplôme de Master en ingénierie mécanique.
• Expertise en matériaux plastiques, moulage par injection et conception de pièces.
• Excellentes compétences en communication en français et en anglais.

Responsabilités

• Conception et développement de nouveaux produits selon les exigences des clients.
• Réalisation de plans de validation de conception et tests.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products based on information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operations Teams, Development Engineers, or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications, including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality and cost, while meeting customer requirements. They may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer needs. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

What your background should look like:

You'll be in charge of the following tasks:

• Design and develop new products to meet customer requirements from customer RFQs (Request For Quotes) to SOP (Start of Production).
• Analyze voice of the customer (VOC) requirements and specifications.
• Work out product design proposals using CAD tools at different development stages: Concept, Design, Development, respecting quality, cost, and project deadlines.
• Apply design verification tools such as worst-case tolerances calculation and mechanical simulation.
• Define DV (Design Validation) and PV (Product Validation) test plans.
• Carry out design of prototype parts, CAD models, and drawings. Follow up on rapid prototyping and pilot manufacturing.
• Participate in product FMEA and product design reviews.
• Be the technical interface for internal and/or external production sites (suppliers).
• Be the technical interface with the customer.
• Execute the product design technical documents (3D models, drawings, specifications, etc.).
• Follow up on product Test & Validation / Qualification.
• Analyze dimensional reports.
• Provide production release.
• Support PPAP submission process.
• Collaborate extensively to ensure project alignment with goals: interact with Sales & Marketing, Advanced Quality Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Cost Accounting, Test & Validation Lab, Model Shop, 3D Printing Shop, Advanced Engineering, Platform Engineering, as well as with Customers and Suppliers.

What your background should look like:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in Product Design.
• In-depth knowledge of plastics materials, injection molding, tool design, and part design.
• Proficient with CAD software: CREO is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T drafting standards, DFMEA, DVP, and Test Plan Development.
• Technical background in automotive or related industry.
• Excellent French and English skills, written and verbal.
