Job summary
Quandela is seeking a Technical Support & Operations Technician / Engineer to monitor and maintain our photonic QPUs and hardware at customer sites, remotely and on-site. You will interface with hardware and software controls, perform initial technical investigations, and involve experts as needed.
The role combines technical support, maintenance, field interventions, training and continuous improvement in a complex international environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in instrumentation, applied physics, optoelectronics or related field.
- Open to experienced technicians and engineers with hands-on, operational interests.
- Experience in operations, system integration, maintenance or technical support for complex systems.
- Experience in multidisciplinary hardware/software environments is highly valued.
- Experience supporting or maintaining technical equipment installed at customer sites would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- System operations & technical support: monitor installed systems, analyse data, perform initial investigations, follow up incidents, maintain records, provide remote support.
- Maintenance & on-site interventions: track maintenance, identify resources, perform diagnostic and maintenance operations, support remotely or on-site, test after maintenance.
- User training & technical guidance: train users, help operate systems, share best practices, improve training materials and docs.
- Documentation & continuous improvement: ensure traceability, maintain docs, improve procedures, capitalise on field experience, implement monitoring tools.
