Job summary

Quandela, a leader in quantum computing, seeks a Software & Hardware Integration QA Engineer to validate the integration between software and physical hardware such as photon sources and laser control systems.

You will design and automate end-to-end tests, build scalable validation processes, and work with software, hardware, systems and industrialization teams to raise product quality as Quandela scales production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA, system validation, or test engineering.
• Hands-on experience testing systems that combine software and hardware.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python).

Responsibilities

• Define QA plans, test strategies, and acceptance criteria for software/hardware integrated systems.
• Design and execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests on real equipment.
• Build automated software-to-hardware integration and end-to-end tests.
• Validate complete workflows from software interfaces to physical execution.
• Test and troubleshoot software-hardware communication via Ethernet and serial connections.
