Alice&Bob is seeking a motivated intern to join its Process Development Engineering Team for six months, starting March 2027, to extend coherence time by reducing material-related losses in superconducting circuits.

The role combines hands-on fabrication in a cleanroom with advanced characterization techniques (SEM, EDX, AFM) and iterative process improvement, in a small, diverse team solving hard quantum computing challenges.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nanotechnology or Applied Physics.
• Some knowledge of nanofabrication.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability for a 6-month internship starting March 2027.

Responsabilités

• Review state-of-the-art superconducting circuit fabrication techniques.
• Fabricate superconducting circuits in a cleanroom environment.
• Characterize fabricated devices (SEM, EDX, AFM, basic room-temperature measurements).
• Continuously improve fabrication and characterization techniques.
