Alice & Bob is building the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer in Paris, France. We seek a Quantum Compilation Scientist to design and optimize the software toolchain that translates quantum programs into physical gate operations on our processors.

You will integrate architectural advances into our resource estimator, scaling efficiency while preserving performance. The role spans quantum physics and computer science, with mentorship and patents as part of the impact.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise across quantum compilation, quantum error correction, fault-tolerant quantum algorithms, classical language and compilation theory
• Proficiency in Python and at least a compiled language (e.g. C++, Rust) and other languages are a plus

Responsabilités

• Develop Alice & Bob’s compilation tool suite, with theoretical studies and implementation
• Improve the resource estimator to integrate architectural improvements for scalable performance
• Fill patents, publish results in scientific publications and present at conferences
• Mentor junior team members, interns, and PhD students
