What to Expect
Perform analyses within a laboratory according to current regulations (standards, BPF, BPD, HSE, pharmacopoeias) while respecting quality policies, instructions, and deadlines.
Impact of Your Role
Ensure the proper execution of all laboratory activities in compliance with standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Zimmer Biomet directives/procedures, and current procedures.
Manage laboratory documentation and equipment.
Prioritize control analyses, especially urgent ones, and alert on potential delays.
Conduct environmental controls in ZAC, train new staff on ZAC procedures.
Investigate OOS/OOT results and non-conformities, support their resolution.
Participate in CAPA follow-up and implementation.
Maintain traceability of activities through proper documentation.
Review and archive analytical dossiers as authorized.
Send samples, follow-up on results, and liaise with external laboratories for troubleshooting.
Provide technical support and respond to other departments' requests.
Maintain daily equipment, prepare reagents, and manage stocks.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the laboratory.
Represent microbiology laboratory in multidisciplinary projects and lead mini-projects as needed.
Train new technicians in the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical expertise in microbiology (bioload, endotoxins, fertility, environmental controls).
Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14644, NF EN 17141 standards, and GMP.
Proficiency with office tools.
