Reporting to the Director Quality, Global, the Quality Engineer, Tools & Data will lead various projects to select, configure, implement, and maintain a common software solution mainly used by the Quality Department in at least 7 different sites (production & warehouse).
This role is essential for ensuring production traceability, recording inspections and managing non-conformities of received components, sub-assemblies and finished products. Additionally, he will be responsible for the Quality Department data, the referent in the Dept for the use of Power-Bi and will participate in developing some other QMS digital functions as a supplier portal to enhance communication with suppliers.
This role will require close collaboration with various departments such as IT & Digital Division, Quality, Operational Excellence and Industrial Operations Departments within the Industry Division.
Key responsibilities:
- Project leadership: lead projects to identify, evaluate, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of the Quality Department (facilitate workshops and meetings).
- Software configuration and implementation: configure and implement selected software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems across multiple sites (external software and Microsoft apps development).
- Maintenance and support: provide ongoing maintenance and support for all quality-related software, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Production traceability: ensure accurate and secure recording of production data to maintain traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Inspection recording and NC management: oversee the recording of inspections and non-conformities for components received, sub-assemblies and finished products.
- Quality Data management: ensure the integrity and accuracy of all quality data across the group and its visualizations through Power BI.
- Supplier portal development: collaborate with the IT department to develop and implement a supplier portal to improve communication and collaboration with suppliers.
- Training and improvement: train staff in the use of new software, provide continuous support to ensure effective utilization and continuously assess and improve digital processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross Department Collaboration: work closely with Quality, IT & Digital, Operational Excellence and Industrial Operations Departments to ensure software solutions meet cross-functional needs and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital management, particularly within a quality or compliance-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of software selection, configuration, and implementation.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS), related software and Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to train and support staff in the use of digital tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving positive change and achieving results.
- Full proficiency in English
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality control and traceability.
- Project management experience.
