As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will:

  • Ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing.
  • Design and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.
  • Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and key existing features on different components of the payment solution.
  • Be the voice of the users, helping the product and engineering teams improve their experience constantly.
  • Plan, prioritize, and supervise test phases on several projects in parallel.
  • Create detailed, exhaustive, and structured test plans and files.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to ensure quality of internal software solutions.
  • Validate software versions.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Experience testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); Advanced Level or other certifications are a plus
