Due to growth in our Major Projects, we have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Fife. This role involves providing support as required by the Site Manager, Project Manager, Quality Manager, or Proposal Lead in delivering technical quality information.
We are actively seeking diligent and dedicated Quality Engineers to oversee Quality Control and Assurance for our Renfrew-based team. Your work will be under the supervision of the Project Quality Lead, ensuring collaboration and consistent outcomes across the quality team.
The ideal candidate will have an academic or vocational qualification such as ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, along with significant professional experience and accredited training towards registration (e.g., Practitioner Member of a recognized professional institution like CQI). You will perform quality control and assurance tasks, prepare standard documents, and contribute to projects as appropriate.
Experience within a similar role, especially in a busy and precise project environment, is desirable. Experience in pipework fabrication and installation is preferred but not essential. You should be able to identify non-conformances and assist in problem-solving using your knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
As a Quality Engineer, you will receive specific technical instructions and operate in accordance with Business Operating Procedures (BOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and guidance from the Project Quality Lead.
Most importantly, you should have a positive attitude towards work, aiming to deliver the best for your team and clients regardless of challenges.
