The team:

Our QA team is collaborative, detail-oriented, fully remote, and works in Scrum. We validate features, identify issues early, and contribute to test strategies and process improvements, emphasizing quality and user experience. Knowledge sharing, curiosity, and continuous learning are core values.

The role:

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, tracking bugs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring platform reliability, performance, and compliance.

• Design and execute automated tests for key features
• Triage bugs and help isolate issues
• Advocate for user experience improvements
• Plan, prioritize, and supervise testing phases
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the platform
• Create detailed test plans and reports
• Coordinate testing activities and validate software versions
• Collaborate with developers on anomalies
• Stay updated on relevant technological developments

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

Experience:

• Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman)
• Experience with EMV payment systems
• Testing APIs, databases, web/mobile applications
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Certifications:

• ISTQB Foundation Level (required); advanced certifications are a plus
