Qualifications

The team:

Our collaborative QA team is dedicated to delivering high-quality software in the payment solutions domain. We work remotely, using Scrum methodology, closely collaborating with developers and product owners to validate features, identify issues early, and ensure smooth releases. We also contribute to test strategies, process improvements, and documentation, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, curiosity, and continuous learning. The role:

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining the reliability, performance, and compliance of our platform.

  • Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and existing features.
  • Triage bug reports and help isolate issues.
  • Advocate for user experience improvements.
  • Manage test phases across multiple projects.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the platform.
  • Report and track issues.
  • Study requirements and create detailed test plans.
  • Coordinate testing activities and validate software versions.
  • Collaborate with developers to follow up on anomalies.
  • Stay updated on technological developments related to projects.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.

Experience: Seniority in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing; solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes; experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress); experience with EMV payment systems; testing APIs, databases, web/mobile applications; understanding of SDLC and Agile; strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level required; advanced certifications are a plus.
