Quality Assurance Engineer( H / F)

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The role involves designing, developing, and executing both functional and automation tests for UI, API, and Mobile applications.

What does the role involve?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design and implement tests, debug, define corrective actions, review system requirements, and track quality assurance metrics (such as defect densities and open defect counts). You will work closely with developers and product owners to identify gaps in business logic and ensure the software delivers value to customers. You will create detailed test plans and cases, develop manual test cases to increase regression coverage and test new functionalities, and execute both manual and automated tests, including ad-hoc and exploratory testing. You will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring quality standards are met.

The Digital Platform team, based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and Plano, Texas, USA, comprises over 160 team members across more than 16 scrum teams. We utilize cutting-edge technologies such as GraphQL, SAP Hybris, AWS cloud, and have a best-in-class automation test framework built with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Gatling.

What you need is:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with BDD test design and writing test cases with Gherkin syntax
• Experience with automation testing of UI and API tests using Selenium, Postman, and Rest Assured
• Experience with Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo
• Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proven Java experience
• Ability to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback and plan testing tasks
• Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases
• Experience in bug tracking and documentation
• Knowledge of AWS and SAP is a plus
• Quick learner of new technologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
