As Quality Assurance Engineer you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Role involves in design, develop, execute both functional and automation test for UI, API and Mobile application.

What does the role involve?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (. defect densities and open defect counts). You work closely with the developers and product owner to find gaps in the business logic and ensure that the software is creating value for the customer. You create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, develop manual test cases to increase regression coverage as well as new functionality testing, and execute manual and automated test cases including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed. Ultimately, youmonitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standard.

The Digital Platform team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Plano,Texas, USA, consists of 160+ team members in 16+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services. Key Technlogies used , GraphQL, SAP Hybris, AWS cloud. We have best-in-class automation test framework developed using Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Gatling.

What you need is :

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience with BDD test design and writing test cases with Gherkin syntax, required.
• Experience with automation testing of UI and API tests using Selenium, Postman and Rest Assured.
• Experience with Atlassian development tools, . Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo.
• Proficient in version control systems and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines, particularly with GitLab.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proven experience in Java.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback as well as plan and prioritize testing tasks
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Having AWS and SAP knowledge is a plus
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Fluency in English
