We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support our QA Manager in designing, deploying, and maintaining a company-wide ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). This role will be instrumental in our journey to achieve ISO 9001 certification and will evolve to include maintaining and improving our quality framework across all company operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, process-oriented, and capable of bridging strategic frameworks with operational execution.

Key responsibilities

ISO 9001 Implementation & Support:

  • Collaborate with the QA Manager to plan, document, and implement the ISO 9001 QMS.
  • Assist in gap analysis, risk assessments, and action plans to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Help develop quality manuals, procedures, and records in alignment with ISO standards.
  • Support internal audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Participate in ISO 9001 certification audits and coordinate follow-up activities.

Post-Certification Quality Support:

  • Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 processes across the organization.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the QMS based on audit findings and feedback.
  • Support quality reporting, metrics tracking, and issue escalation.
  • Help enforce quality controls and process consistency across internal teams and external partners.
  • Assist in quality assurance activities across engineering, supply chain, and production functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality systems roles, ideally in a high-tech or semiconductor-related environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 implementation or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as internal audits, corrective/preventive actions, document control, and process mapping.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor or photonics industries is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with FMEA, 8D, or APQP methodologies is a bonus.
  • Contribute directly to building a scalable and impactful quality system in a fast-growing deep tech company.
  • Be part of a passionate and collaborative team at the forefront of photonic integration.
  • Work in a flexible and supportive environment that values initiative and innovation.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
