We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Manager to join our shipyard clients' team. In this role, you will lead and oversee all quality assurance and health, safety, and environmental initiatives within our organization. As a key leader, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, foster a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement to meet and exceed operational efficiency while prioritizing people and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures in alignment with legal regulations, company objectives, and industry best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable quality and environmental standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or relevant frameworks).
• Provide on-site leadership and participate in inspections, assessments, and audits to ensure adherence to QHSE protocols.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and promote a proactive and preventive approach to health and safety.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement processes and promote environmental stewardship.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to empower employees with QHSE knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain accurate reports, metrics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and accountability.
