ECC Group is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support the delivery of a major 40MW data centre development in the Paris region. This senior, hands-on quality role ensures construction activities meet designs, specifications and standards, coordinating with client teams, designers, contractors and commissioning teams.

You will own QA/QC across the programme, drive ITPs, NCRs and handover documentation, and champion safe, efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with complex MEP installations.
• Data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex technical project experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, NCRs, inspections, technical documentation and handover.
• Experience managing contractor and subcontractor quality performance.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• French language capability is advantageous.
• Ability to work on site at least three days per week.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate quality inspections with contractors, consultants, vendors and client representatives.
• Support commissioning readiness, system walkdowns, punch lists and final acceptance.
• Ensure quality handover packages, test certificates, inspection records and as-built documentation are complete.

ECC Group is looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to support the delivery of a major 40MW data centre development in the Paris region.

This is a senior, hands-on quality role working on behalf of our client, with responsibility for ensuring construction activities are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, contractual requirements, applicable standards and the Project Quality Management Plan.

The position will work closely with the client team, designers, general contractor, subcontractors, vendors and commissioning teams throughout construction, testing and handover.

The Role

You will take ownership of project QA/QC activities across the construction programme, including:

• Implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management Plan
• Managing site QA/QC processes, inspections, quality KPIs and reporting
• Reviewing contractor and subcontractor Quality Plans
• Managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, inspection requests, checklists and test records
• Managing NCRs, defects, observations and corrective/preventive actions
• Conducting root-cause analysis and driving issues through to closure
• Coordinating quality inspections with contractors, consultants, vendors and client representatives
• Supporting commissioning readiness, system walkdowns, punch lists and final acceptance
• Ensuring quality handover packages, test certificates, inspection records and as-built documentation are complete.

Mission-Critical Systems

The role will provide QA/QC oversight across complex data centre infrastructure including MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS and batteries, generators, busbar systems, cooling systems, chillers, pumps and pipework, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, fire systems, fuel systems, earthing and lightning protection.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally bring:

• Strong experience with complex MEP installations
• Data centre, mission-critical or similarly complex technical project experience highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, NCRs, inspections, technical documentation and handover
• Experience managing contractor and subcontractor quality performance
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills
• Professional working proficiency in English
• French language capability is advantageous
