A leading company in the supply chain sector is seeking a QA Inspector to oversee inspection plans and conduct on-site inspections in France and beyond. The ideal candidate will have extensive QA experience, particularly in nuclear piping, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently. This role also allows for a mix of remote work and travel, fostering collaboration with teams across various European locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years QA experience in piping (nuclear preferred).
• Knowledge of RCC-M and pipe/fitting manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).

• Review of inspection plans & work instructions (RCC-M, HPC specs).
• On-site inspections & FAT at piping/fittings suppliers.
• Support QA and expediting teams during supplier audits.

We're hiring: QA Inspector – Supply Chain

• Location: France | 50% remote – 50% travel (France, Germany, Eastern Europe)
• Duration: 3 months - 40h/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of inspection plans & work instructions (RCC-M, HPC specs, ISO)

• On-site inspections & FAT at piping/fittings suppliers (w/ TÜV, APAVE, etc.)

• Test result reporting, deviation management

• Support QA and expediting teams during supplier audits

• Continuous supervision in case of major supplier issues

Your Profile:

• Technical background in metalworking (technician/engineer preferred)

• 3+ years QA experience in piping (ferritic/austenitic – nuclear preferred)

• Knowledge of RCC-M and pipe/fitting manufacturing processes

• Familiar with inspection bodies (e.g., TÜV, APAVE)

• NDT (VT, RT, PT, MT) & welding certifications are a plus

• Fluent English (written & spoken)

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel

• Autonomous, reliable, with strong communication and teamwork skills

• Valid driving license & full travel flexibility
