Job summary

Terabase Energy is seeking an experienced QA engineer to own testing across Construct’s web and mobile platforms. You will design, execute, and automate tests, while collaborating with US-based engineers and Belgrade partners. The role emphasizes shift-left quality, triage, and end-to-end ownership.

You’ll work remotely with a cross-functional team, ensure test coverage, and contribute to improving our QA processes and knowledge base. English proficiency is required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in software QA / testing, ideally on B2B SaaS products.
• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Maestro, Selenium).
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Experience in customer-facing support or triage – translate field reports into reproducible bugs.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants or agents.
• Comfortable with CI/CD, bug tracking, and test management tools (e.g., Linear).
• Strong grasp of Agile and the software product lifecycle.
• Works well remotely across time zones.
• Professional English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual tests, and run automated test suites, across Construct’s web and mobile apps
• Maintain and improve our existing test automation suites (Playwright for web, Maestro for mobile)
• Own first-line support: triage incoming issues, reproduce them, and turn field feedback into well-formed tickets
• Work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, and our external dev partners
• Champion shift-left testing and help developers own more of their test coverage
• Maintain and grow our support knowledge base so answers get found before tickets get filed
• Help bridge the QA & Support function with the rest of Terabase
