Terabase Energy is seeking an experienced QA engineer to own quality end-to-end for Construct's web and mobile platforms. You’ll run manual tests and automated suites, maintain Playwright and Maestro tests, and triage field feedback into actionable tickets.

You will collaborate daily with US-based engineers and partners in Belgrade, thriving in a remote, async environment across time zones. Professional English is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in software QA / testing for B2B SaaS products.
• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Maestro, Selenium).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience in customer-facing support or triage.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants or agents.
• Comfortable with CI/CD, bug tracking, and test management tools (Linear).
• Strong Agile understanding and software lifecycle knowledge.
• Works well remotely and across time zones; professional English.

Construct is a B2B SaaS construction management and quality control platform designed from the ground up for utility-scale solar projects. By combining GIS, AI/ML, IoT, and mobile technologies, the solution drives major improvements in safety, quality, cost, and schedule for the solar industry. Construct has supported morethan 16+ GW of projects from leading owners and EPCs.

The Role

You’ll join the Construct team, reporting to the QA Manager. This team owns testing across Construct’s web platform and mobile app, and first-line support for the people using them in the field.

We’re looking for an experienced QA engineer who’s comfortable working alongside AI-assisted tools and curious about where they can help. You should be comfortable owning quality end-to-end, from test strategy to automation to the support ticket that closes the loop, and being a team player.

You’ll collaborate daily with our US-based engineering teams and our external partners in Belgrade.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute manual tests, and run automated test suites, across Construct’s web and mobile apps
• Maintain and improve our existing test automation suites (Playwright for web, Maestro for mobile)
• Own first-line support: triage incoming issues, reproduce them, and turn field feedback into well-formed tickets
• Work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, and our external dev partners
• Champion shift-left testing and help developers own more of their test coverage
• Maintain and grow our support knowledge base so answers get found before tickets get filed
• Help bridge the QA & Support function with the rest of Terabase

What we are looking for

• 3–5 years’ experience in software QA / testing, ideally on B2B SaaS products
• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Working experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Maestro, Selenium), enough to maintain, debug, and improve existing suites
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Experience in customer-facing support or triage – you can turn a vague field report into a reproducible bug
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants or agents, and an interest in using them to work smarter
• Comfortable with CI/CD, bug tracking, and test management tools (we use Linear)
• Solid grasp of Agile and the software product lifecycle
• Works well remotely and collaborating asynchronously across time zones
• Professional English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with digital twins, modeling physical assets and processes in software
• GIS background
• Experience in solar, construction, or other field-operations industries
• Startup experience, specially building 0→1 in new markets
