QA Clerk

The QA Clerk will maintain a high-quality product by accurately inspecting the product.

Our Inventory department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a QA Clerk.

Key Tasks

1. Maintains quality product by: inspecting product prior to final packaging, checking for manufacturing defects and correct components, inspecting reworked product, rejecting nonconforming product, confirming final package contents.
2. Manages inventory by: inspecting purchased items and components, matching serial and bar code numbers, ordering supplies, segregating nonconforming materials.
3. Maintains product records by: keeping accurate counts, documenting on forms, using defect codes, updating work orders, following good manufacturing practices.
4. Supports operations by: communicating with teams, segregating incomplete products, diagnosing product failures, reporting atypical results.

Your Background

• High School diploma or GED required; one to three months related experience preferred.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
