At Skaleet, we thrive on collaboration, creativity, and a shared passion for redefining the future of banking.

Join us in our journey to transform the financial industry!

We are constantly looking for talented individuals to help us continue developing our solution and achieve our goals: supporting financial institutions in their innovation journey.

[Job Description]

Context

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will join the QA team, and will report directly to Ségolène, our CPO. You will have the opportunity to play a strategic role: rethinking and enhancing test automation, leading the QA team, and ensuring the overall quality of our product.

Your future missions
Revamp and improve our test framework
  • Audit the current setup, identify areas for improvement, and propose practical, progressive solutions (architecture, best practices, standardization).
  • Define and implement an effective test automation strategy (organization, structure, naming conventions).
Automate and implement tools
  • Select and integrate the best tools for automating various types of tests: API, end-to-end, integration, and performance (Postman, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
  • Embed tests into CI/CD pipelines for smooth execution and efficient reporting.
Lead and collaborate
  • Mentor and support the QA team in their day-to-day work and skill development.
  • Set objectives, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work closely with Dev, Product, and Infra teams to align testing strategies with business needs.
  • Take part in planning phases to anticipate QA needs and risks early in the development cycle.
Measure and improve
  • Define and track quality KPIs: test coverage, execution time, test stability, etc.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting on the testing status and improvement areas.

[Desired Profile]

You are a great match if:

  • 5+ years in software quality with strong expertise in automation.
  • Proficient in tools like Postman, Playwright (or Cypress, Puppeteer), Git, and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and test framework structuring.
  • Experience in team management and technical project coordination.
  • Good grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Fluent in English (some team members are English-speaking).
  • Great communicator and mentor: you enjoy sharing knowledge and uniting a team.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized: you like structuring and optimizing processes.
  • Team player with leadership skills: you thrive on collaboration and helping others succeed.
  • Proactive mindset: you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas.

About your future manager

Ségolène joined Skaleet in 2017 as a Product Owner and has grown into the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) since 2021. Her main objective is to support, structure and accelerate the economic growth of the company. I own the product vision and strategy and oversee all elements of the product from conceptualization to delivery performance.

The benefits of joining Skaleet

  • 25 days of paid vacation and 12 additional days off (RTT) per year.
  • The perfect health insurance: Alan Blue.
  • Lunch Matters: We provide a Swile card to cover your meals on workdays and Skaleet offers the meal for everyone in the office on Thursdays.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and strong team spirit.
  • Beautiful brand-new offices located in Boulogne-Billancourt, right next to Metro Line 10.

[Recruitment Process]

  • A first video call with Maxime from the HR team to get to know each other and tell you more about Skaleet, our company culture & values (30’).
  • A technical interview with Ségolène, CPO, to dive deeper into the specifics of the role (60’).
  • A final meeting at our offices in Boulogne with Martin, our CEO, or Geoffroy, our Secretary General (60’).
