Jobtailor is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain frontend test automation, primarily using Playwright with TypeScript. You will collaborate on test plans, execute manual tests, and document defects while contributing to AI-assisted QA improvements and cybersecurity software lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in computer science, software development or software quality.
• Initial professional experience in test automation (entry-level acceptable).
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript preferred.
• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsabilités

• Design, document, develop, and maintain automation scripts, especially frontend end-to-end tests.

Description du poste

• Design, document, develop, and maintain automation scripts, particularly frontend end-to-end tests
• Collaborate on the creation of test plans and scenarios based on functional specifications
• Execute manual tests according to defined procedures
• Accurately identify and document defects
• Track defect resolution through to completion
• Perform exploratory testing to identify defects that are difficult to reproduce within a scripted framework
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance tools and processes, including through the use of AI
• Contribute to the quality of cybersecurity software managing the lifecycle of digital certificates and identities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (engineering school or university) with a specialization in computer science, software development, or software quality
• At least initial professional experience (entry-level position) in test automation
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript is preferred
• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
• Knowledge of Playwright
• Experience with Linear/Jira, Outline/Confluence, and Bruno/Postman
