Jobtailor is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain frontend test automation, primarily using Playwright with TypeScript. You will collaborate on test plans, execute manual tests, and document defects while contributing to AI-assisted QA improvements and cybersecurity software lifecycle management.

The role emphasizes strong written and spoken French and English communication, meticulous organization, and teamwork in a Paris-area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in computer science, software development or software quality.
• Initial professional experience in test automation (entry-level acceptable).
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript preferred.
• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsabilités

• Design, document, develop, and maintain automation scripts, especially frontend end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate on creating test plans and scenarios from functional specs.
• Execute manual tests according to defined procedures.
• Identify and document defects accurately and track resolution to completion.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hard-to-reproduce defects.
• Contribute to QA tools and processes, including AI-assisted quality improvement, and cybersecurity software lifecycle management.
