Job summary

Pixid is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across API, end-to-end, and performance testing. You will build scalable automation frameworks, ensure reliability as the platform scales, and define quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline.

You’ll collaborate with Product Owners and developers to clarify API contracts and acceptance criteria, shaping quality at scale. You’ll champion a quality mindset, design robust test automation for RESTful and event-driven services, and deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with a focus on test automation
• Strong experience designing and implementing API test automation frameworks
• Proficient in REST API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Karate) and contract testing
• Hands-on load testing experience with JMeter or K6 and performance monitoring tools
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with testing distributed microservices architectures and service virtualization

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive API test automation frameworks for RESTful and event-driven services
• Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites validating critical user journeys across microservices and frontend apps
• Drive performance engineering through load, stress, and scalability testing
• Extend reusable automation frameworks and libraries to scale across squads
• Implement automated quality gates within CI pipelines
• Collaborate with Product and Dev teams to clarify API contracts and acceptance criteria
• Champion quality standards and proactively identify risks and improvements
