Description du poste

The Core Product Startup builds and maintains Deezer’s applications. The Industry team builds a strong relationship with rights owners like Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal Music or Believe, people who produce your favourite tracks! Within the Industry team, you will work on Deezer for Creators tool in order to provide analytics and insights to artists, managers, labels and providers.

Being responsible for the quality of a product as popular as Deezer is a challenge. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be part of the global Deezer Product Department. You will be working with the QA analyst and in collaboration within a team of talented engineers, assisting the project managers with your analytical point of view and your eye for product design and quality, to help ensure the delivery of defect-free products that comply with technical specifications and business requirements.

The team : The team consists of 2 backend developers, 2 frontend developers, a product owner, and 1 QA (2 QAs with you!). We work on a parallel app called Deezer for Creators (D4C) which provider labels, providers, managers, and artist key metrics as to how your tracks, album, etc are performing worldwide, along with many other exciting features!

Your mission : Ensure developments of the highest quality are delivered by helping with the automated testing coverage on a web application.

What you will do :

Plan & perform manual test to better understand use cases and provide efficient automated tests using Cypress

Track issues : maintain and update the backlogs of bugs, write clear and detailed bug reports, and communicate about your testing activities

Work hand in hand with the product and tech teams : interact closely with your team members to understand the ongoing projects and technical challenges

Actively participate to QA community by sharing success and failure and using other teams success

We seek individuals who exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work. A keen eye for spotting inconsistencies, anomalies, and potential bugs is crucial.

Effective communication skills and a willingness to work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members are highly desirable.

Our industry moves quickly, and we value people who are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and techniques is a significant advantage.

Since we are an international company with international team members, a fluent level of English is a must.

This is an internship starting from Q2 2024, for 6 months. It should preferably be your end-of-study internship
