Cardiawave, a MedTech company based in Levallois-Perret, is seeking a Purchasing & Procurement Officer to join our Hardware & Manufacturing team. You will ensure the availability of components, equipment and services, while optimizing costs, lead times and the security of our supply chain.

You will collaborate with R&D, Industrialisation, Quality and Finance, and with our manufacturing partners to manage sourcing, purchases, supplier performance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in procurement, supply chain management, engineering or equivalent.
• Significant initial experience in procurement and/or sourcing within an industrial environment, ideally in medical devices or regulated industry.

Responsabilités

• Managing procurement and sourcing: analyse requirements, identify suppliers, negotiate terms, seek alternate sources.
• Managing procurement: plan requirements, place and track orders, optimize stock levels and avoid stock-outs.
• Managing supplier performance: monitor quality, costs, lead times, reliability; address risks and take action.
• Ensuring the quality and compliance of purchases: supplier qualification, traceability and handling of non-conformities with Quality team.
• Supporting development and industrialisation projects: assist R&D/Industrialisation in selecting components and suppliers, plan transition from prototype to mass production.

Would you like to join an innovative MedTech company and take on a highly operational role at the heart of the development, industrialisation and production of medical devices?

The company

Based in Levallois-Perret, Cardiawave SA is developing a non-invasive ultrasound therapy for the treatment of heart valve diseases, initially focusing on calcified aortic stenosis, the most common heart condition in adults. Its patented technology combines therapeutic ultrasound, robotics and ultrasound imaging. It is the result of research carried out by the French academic laboratories Physics for Medicine Paris (INSERM/CNRS/ESPCI/PSL) and the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (HEGP), a leader in the field of valvular heart disease and cardiac ultrasound imaging.

During the clinical investigation phase, Valvosoft® was used to treat 100 patients across four European countries. Valvosoft obtained CE marking in November 2025 within the European Union and is not yet approved for commercial use in other countries or regions, including the United States.

Cardiawave currently employs 25 people.

We are looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Officer to join our Hardware & Manufacturing team.

Your role

Your objective: to ensure the availability of the components, equipment and services required for our operations, whilst optimising costs, lead times, quality and the security of our supply chain.

You will work closely with the R&D, Industrialisation, Quality and Finance teams, as well as our manufacturing partners.

Your main responsibilities

• Managing procurement and sourcing: analysing requirements, identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating commercial terms and seeking alternative sources.
• Managing procurement: planning requirements, placing and tracking orders, anticipating the risk of stock-outs and helping to optimise stock levels.
• Managing supplier performance: monitoring quality, costs, lead times and reliability; identifying risks and implementing the necessary actions.
• Ensuring the quality and compliance of purchases: contributing to supplier qualification, document traceability and the handling of non-conformities in collaboration with the Quality team.
• Supporting development and industrialisation projects: assisting the R&D and Industrialisation teams in selecting components and suppliers, anticipating risks of obsolescence or dependency, and supporting the transition from prototype to mass production.

The profile we are looking for

You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in procurement, supply chain management, engineering or an equivalent qualification, and have significant initial experience in procurement and/or sourcing within an industrial environment.

Experience in the medical devices sector or in a regulated industrial environment would be a real asset.

• A sound technical background enabling you to liaise with R&D and manufacturing teams;
• A good understanding of quality issues: ISO 9001/13485, critical suppliers, traceability, change management and supplier non-conformities;
• A good command of an ERP system and procurement and supply chain management tools — knowledge of Odoo is a plus;
• Professional-level English, both written and spoken.
