Job Description:

dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, is recruiting for a consultant Market Manager covering the France,Monaco and Benelux region, to support our Central Ground Services function by proactively contracting directly withhotels and accommodation suppliers and developing relationships in the region. In this role, you will be the single point of contact for suppliers on behalf of dnata Travel and our affiliated brands. You will leverage technology to achieve seamless connectivity with our accommodation suppliers to drive room night production and revenuegrowth.

Job Accountabilities
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts.
• Deliver account management with clear development plans for leading suppliers assigned in your market.
• Manage Market Executives in the execution of account management.
• Work with the product team to set and deliver the bed brief and always highlight opportunities throughout the region.
• Pro-actively manage the supplier negotiation process at the optimal time.
• Support and negotiate alongside your internal customer’s marketing team to ensure maximumcontribution from suppliers for dnata brands’ campaigns.
• Maximise commercial return on relationships by ensuring highly competitive brochure contributions andproduction based tiered overrides are incorporated into the contracting process.
• Oversee site inspections of existing and new properties to ascertain suitability.
• Ensure that rates and information are loaded into the contracting system in close collaboration with thecontract loading teams.
• Support the product teams with the delivery of content, images, product awareness and knowledge.
• In collaboration with the businesses’ product teams evaluate market requirements related to the needsof tactical products.
• Manage CRM accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage supplier development andpartnership.
• Implement the Health and Safety procedures set by the company.

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
• Significant previous experience in a Purchaser/Market Manager role with recent experience in one ormore of the contracting regions above.
• Proven ability to exercise commercial judgement in the selection, negotiation and contracting of touroperator product or hotel services.
• Knowledge of geography and an understanding of the tourism/tour operating industry.
• Demonstrable analytic skills.
• Proven ability to meet production and commercial deadlines.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (advantage).
• Technology literate with an existing international job relevant industry network.
• Excellent written and oral English and French language preferred.
• First-hand knowledge of geography and an understanding of the tourism/tour operating industry withinthe specified region.
• Proven network of supplier contacts and relationships.

This role will ideally be homebased in the Paris area with regular market visits (expenses paid).
