Your Job

As a Publisher Business Developer, your mission is to generate measurable business growth by acquiring, developing, and scaling partnerships with digital media publishers in the Francophone Canadian market. You will act as a strategic partner, showcasing how Sparteo's solutions (Actirise, Viously, etc.) create tangible value and drive business outcomes.

To specify:

Drive Publisher Acquisition

  • Identify and engage small to medium-sized digital publishers across Francophone Canada.
  • Build long-term partnerships by positioning Sparteo platforms as performance-driven, revenue-generating solutions.
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing.

Optimize & Scale Publisher Relationships

  • Monitor and maximize publisher performance through data analysis and strategic consulting.
  • Leverage internal tools and support teams to enhance monetization results.
  • Promote upsell opportunities and platform adoption (Actirise, Viously, and other solutions).
  • Represent the Francophone Canadian market within Sparteo.
  • Identify emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and local dynamics in digital publishing.
  • Provide actionable insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams to influence strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product, AdOps, Analytics, and Customer Success teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Align publisher needs with internal capabilities for long-term impact and retention.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in adtech business development, with an existing network of small to mid-sized Francophone web publishers across Canada, especially in Quebec and French-speaking regions.

Strong command of B2B sales cycles and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Analytical skills to interpret data and develop strategies aligned with local market dynamics.

Growth-driven: Motivated by personal development and team success with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Data-oriented: Comfortable using analytics to support decisions and optimize performance.

Team-first: Collaborative, thriving in team environments to achieve top-tier results.
