Your future environmentAt Group Trucks Technology, within the Studies & Research entity, you will play a key role in the development of our vehicle ranges.
As part of Complete Vehicle France, we ensure that the performance of our trucks (noise, comfort, braking, etc.) meets customer expectations throughout all development phases.
We design rigorous verification and validation plans, build prototypes, and conduct physical and virtual tests to deliver products that our customers trust.
The La Valbonne proving ground is the primary test site for Group Trucks Technology France. Spanning 60 hectares, with more than 25 tracks totaling 42 km, it provides realistic and diversified testing conditions.
Our dedicated team, working in a 3-shift system, ensures the preparation, execution, and analysis of tests with accuracy and reliability.
The site also plays a critical role in supporting new product launches and commercial events, showcasing our innovations.
As Proving Ground Manager at La Valbonne, for both the Renault Trucks Heavy-Duty and Multi-Purpose ranges (Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks), your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment across all site operations.
Leading, developing, and inspiring your team to meet the evolving needs of our products.
Managing resource planning and delivery, guaranteeing test schedules are met efficiently.
Driving continuous improvement in safety, environmental impact, budget control, and delivery precision.
Leading technological transformations related to our products (AI, simulation, automation) and evolving tools, processes, and equipment.
Fostering cross-functional collaboration, always prioritizing global results over local optimization.
Collaborating closely with the site manager to maintain and develop the test facilities.
Engineering degree or equivalent background.
5 to 10 years of experience in team management, with proven ability to lead transformations.
Good technical knowledge in testing and/or the trucking industry (is a plus).
Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken) to work effectively in a global environment.
A natural leader, passionate about teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within teams.
