Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Trade/Tech training with 5–7 years of on‑the‑job experience in power systems protection and controls.
• Alternatively, military training with relevant power protection experience.
• University/college 2–4‑year in Engineering Technology plus related power protection experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting customer and sales technical documents, quotations, and service requests and applying data to the quoted task.
• Communicating technical information clearly to management and customers.
• Travel to job locations, perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and apply IEEE, NETA, NEMA, NEC standards.
• Create test reports and summaries of work completed.
• Assist in training service technicians in basic protective relay and control systems.
