ThrustMe is seeking a System Engineer to design, build and test innovative plasma propulsion concepts for small satellites. You will collaborate with physicists and engineers in the Innovation team to validate prototypes and produce documentation, contributing to IP development.

You will work across electronics, thermal design, and electronics integration, with hands-on prototyping and testing in vacuum setups, aiming for robust, repeatable propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in applied physics, aerospace systems engineering, or general engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronics; capable of creating test boards and simple control systems.
• RF and power electronics experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in a changing environment within the Innovation team.
• Good handwork and pride in workmanship.
• Knowledge of aerospace systems.

Responsabilités

• Conceptual design of the propulsion systems and their elements.
• Basic simulation using existing tools: electronic circuits, thermal
• Breadboard design of electronics (power & signal) for the propulsion systems
• Assembly and experimental testing of the propulsion systems using vacuum setups, performance characterization and enhancement
• Multidisciplinary testing of various system elements
• Coordination of projects within the Innovation team
• Document writing and reporting
