Overview

We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. We have delivered world-first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems and are experiencing rapid growth with ongoing projects and orders.

As Plasma Physicist at ThrustMe’s Innovation team, you will develop concepts and early-stage prototypes of plasma systems for ionosphere representation, tackle challenging beam and plasma diagnostic problems, and help turn novel concepts into future cutting-edge technologies.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Design of proof-of-concept plasma systems.
• Design and assembly of plasma diagnostics.
• Participate in the creation and protection of related intellectual property (patents, know-how) and dissemination activities (presenting at conferences, writing research and engineering articles).
• Collaborate with physicists and engineers in the innovation team to solve complex multi-disciplinary topics through brainstorming and in-house research.
• Continuous learning of new technologies and ongoing improvement.
• Report regularly to the Head of Innovation.
