The Exploration Company seeks a CAD & Stress Analyst to design propulsion hardware, focusing on the thrust chamber assembly, from initial CAD layout through final stress justification, in close collaboration with manufacturing and test teams. You will perform hand calculations and FEA, select materials, document design decisions, and support design reviews.

A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and 1+ year CAD/stress experience are required; fluent English and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 1+ year CAD design and stress analysis experience.
• Strong CAD and visualization skills.
• Solid grounding in structural/stress analysis including hand calculations and FEA.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and their impact on design.
• English fluency.

Responsabilités

• Design thrust chamber and injector hardware in CAD from concept to detailed design.
• Perform stress analysis on designed parts (hand calculations and FEA).
• Select materials and define manufacturing processes with manufacturing engineering.
• Collaborate with propulsion, thermal, and fluidic engineers to translate requirements into load cases.
• Maintain interface definitions, drawings, and data sets with configuration control.
• Conduct trade studies and justify design decisions with analysis.
• Elaborate structural analysis reports for design reviews and qualification.
• Support test requirements and validate analytical models.
• Produce documentation of design choices and trade-offs.
