Job summary

Ubisoft Paris is seeking a Prompt Specialist to explore AI-driven game features and ensure content consistency across environments. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, shaping how generative AI enhances gameplay and user experiences.

You will test models, define best practices for prompt engineering, and collaborate with QA, data, programming, and creative teams to deliver engaging, reliable experiences across Ubisoft titles.

Qualifications

• Passionate about video games, with at least one prior experience in a tech company.
• Proven experience designing prompts for various tasks and across multiple providers. You’re familiar with agents and function calling, reasoning strategies, chain/tree of thought approaches, zero-shot & few-shot learning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Solid understanding of several language models (GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, Qwen, SentenceBERT, Llama, Mistral, etc.) and their key differences.
• Fluent in both English, written and spoken (French is a plus). You are also known for your strong writing skills.
• Strong listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to translate user needs into clear specifications.
• Capable of adapting your analysis and communication style to reach a wide range of stakeholders.
• Independent and curious by nature.
• Programming skills (Python, C#, etc.) and experience working with AI APIs.
• Experience in narrative content creation (dialogue, quests, world-building) and/or role-playing games.
• A good understanding of video game design principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing bugs and feedback, identifying those related to prompt content, and suggesting improvements
